Have you seen this? Check out the numbers on figure 2, page 3. Does that seem accurate?
In my opinion I believe that English would be ranked with higher numbers and Native Americans would rank much lower. I didn’t realize that Germans ranked so high. What catches you off guard?
This page of census data shows that 0.9 % of U.S. population is “American Indian”. So which one is correct?
The other weird thing is that Germans were not rounded up during WWII like Japanese were on the west coast. Did that contribute to the population difference now? Probably the population difference is mostly caused from the old Asian exclusion act.
